Tackling the Concussion Crisis, Acquired Brain Injury Ireland, in association with EBIS (European Brain Injury Society) hosted Ireland's first ever Brain Injury and Sport Conference at the Aviva Stadium on 13 December 2013; bringing together a panel of expert speakers to discuss the growing concern surrounding concussion and head injury in sport, the conference highlighted the need for further education in relation to concussion, and an overall cultural change to way in which concussion is managed and monitored
