Rise Above with Joe & Heidi with Guest Terence Banich 07/20/17

This week Joseph Perroni and Heidi Mancini welcomed Dr. Banich to the Rise Above Show. Dr. Terence Banich is a board certified general surgeon and a master in neurolinguistic programming and hypnosis.
Dr. Terence Banich discussed being a surgeon in Las Vegas since 1980 and his related sacrifices, decisions, and hard work that advanced his career.
Dr. Banich was able to successfully manage his work and family. Dr. Banich was married for 43 years until his wife, Mimi died 4 years ago. We discussed how they met, how they were able to sustain the relationship while having high responsibility professions and raising 3 children, and how to handle disagreements.
We discussed the NLP saying which states, the map is not the territory. Everyone sees and perceives the wold differently which means everyone has a different vision of reality. The greatest respect to another individual is to agree to disagree at times. This shows that each partner is willing to love the other without judgement.
Dr. Banich talked about marriage advice such as never going to bed angry and always turning toward your partner rather than turning away.
