Meet Dr. Thomas Trumble a Physician at Bellevue Hand Surgery
Dr. Trumble is a graduate of Yale Medical School and trained at Yale University School of Medicine, Yale--New Haven Hospital, as well as Duke University and Harvard, including Massachusetts General Hospital. He is trained in hand surgery, shoulder surgery, and microvascular surgery. He has practiced in Bellevue for over a decade and has taught at the University of Washington for over 20 years. Dr. Trumble was in the first group of physicians to take and complete the Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery offered by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He started the first hand surgery fellowship in Washington at the University of Washington in 1990. As well Dr. Thomas Trumble served on the board of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. In addition to he served on the board of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Foundation for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Trumble Served as Treasurer for the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and on the Board of Orthopaedic Specialists for the American Academy of Orthopaedic surgery. He also Chaired or co-chaired over 20 regional and national courses on hand surgery. Published over 100 articles and chapters in hand surgery and has edited 5 textbooks in Hand Surgery including the 2nd Edition of Principles of Hand Surgery published in 2009.
